Social Services

So today I had my first meeting with a social worker.  When I first went into the front office I was a bit taken aback.  There was a security desk and then bullet proof glass between the reception and receptionist.  I hadn't really thought about their jobs being dangerous.  They can be dealing with angry and unstable adults.
My introduction to the social worker went well.  She answered a lot of my questions and gave me a huge application packet to fill out.  So now the process begins.
