One of the games. They had to sew their team together.
Part of the concert. Did you notice the kareoke playing in the background?
Yesterday we had a wonderful trip to the orphanage. 9 of us went from our church. This time I was in charge of the craft and all the games and Victor spoke to the kids about real love.
After our 4 hour drive there they had a wonderful lunch waiting for us of potatoe soup and plov (rice pilaf only much better.) We then went upstairs where the kids had planned a surprise for us. They preformed a concert that was entirely their own planning and doing. They even surprised one of their care takers with a birthday gift. These are extreemly loving kids. After the concert it was outside for some fun games. After the planned games we just played with the kids doing whatever you might do on a playground. Eventually we made it inside where we painted wooden cars that were sent from America especially for these kids.
All in all we had a great day. After the craft we were supposed to leave but we stayed and played another hour or so. They really didn't want us to leave. Lord willing many of them will get to come to camp with us in just three weeks!
