What can God do in a week?

The difference that one week can make is incredible.  I have watched God move in so many miraculous ways this week I have to speak of his goodness and blessings upon my family.
My parents are not in great health and for the past 21 years they have lived in a two story house.  This last year my mom was in the ER twice due to severe arthritis in both knees.  Exactly a year ago my dad was released from the hospital after nearly a week in ICU.  We have been looking and praying for a single story home in the right location, with the right pieces, for the right price.  Here is the story to how we found that home and what has happened since.
One week ago my sister and her family were camping for the weekend near where we live.  I had found a home I wanted my parents to look at.  My brother in law is a realtor and he was able to get us in to view the house.  Everyone in my family agreed it was the right house.  That has never happened before.  My brother in law was told that they owners already had an offer they were not going to accept.  The house had just been put on the market.  As we were leaving another couple came in to look at the house and seemed very excited.
Monday morning my dad went to the bank and filled out paperwork.  Monday afternoon the offer was in.  We received a call that my parents were in a bidding war.  They changed their offer and let them know it was an all cash offer.  They got the house!  Not only did they get it they are scheduled to sign the paperwork July 21 and it will record July 24!  So fast.
We immediately got to work.  We went through the entire house to pair it down.  We placed things on facebook marketplace for sale on Wednesday and advertised a garage sale.  The inspection also took place on Thursday and everything went well with that.  On Thursday we sold the first piece of furniture and today we sold the last.  We sold everything for asking price.  The garage sale was a HUGE success. Nearly everything went.
Today, Sunday, we went to drop of the few remaining items at a thrift store.  While we were out we went to our Sears which is closing.  We walked in and saw a used desk they were selling for $40.  My parents need a desk for their new home and we couldn’t find anything affordable and nice.  This desk was perfect.  My mom was able to get it for $30.  I was able to get a new bed for a steal!
There have been so many moments this week that have made us just drop our jaws and be amazed at the goodness of God.  There is still a lot of work ahead of us.  God is in control of it all.  This week my mom and I are shifting our focus to preparing for ladies retreat in less then three weeks.
The greatest gift to me has been the presence of God.  Thursday morning I was stressed and worried.  The voice of the Lord reminded me: “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.  And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.”  Philipians 4:6-7
