Camp Kitchen

Our dinning room. The kids ate at one end and the "youth" at the other. The youth included Tim age 10 Alyssa age 15 and Katya and Nastia age 17. Somehow I fit into the youth category. The adults ate after us but they insisted that I was a youth and not an adult.
This is where we got our hot water from. We had two drums going at the same time to boil water. We used this water for showers but the kitchen also used it to prepare food quicker. All our water was brought in every day in 50 liter barrels.

Luda cooking on one of our two stoves. They brought out two old stoves and two big tanks of gas for cooking.

Our kitchen

The Lenas preparing a salad. We ate lots of cucumbers, tomtoes, cabage, and potatoes.

Our wonderful cooks fed us three meals a day plus three snacks. No paper dishes were ever used. We deffinitly kept them busy cooking and washing up but they all served with great hearts. Thanks Lena, Lena, Anya, and Luda!
